TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

It’s the responsibility of the bride to familiarise, understand and accept responsibility of all the booking terms and conditions for “I Do” Bridal Services.

MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

We have a minimum spend of £600 for our services in peak season ( Fri/Sat/Sun from May to September). The minimum spend does not include your bridal trial. This includes bride hair and make up, one bridal party hair and make up and one bridal party either hair and makeup. If you are looking for a bride only service, you are very welcome to book but the minimum fee applies.

BOOKING PAYMENTS

  1. Payment of a non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date. This is worked out as 25% of your final booking fee and is then deducted from your final balance. Bookings made with less than 1 calendar month until the event are payable in full upon booking to secure the date.

  2. Dates are given on a first come first served basis

  3. A date cannot be held without a booking fee and the requested date will still be open to other enquiries in the mean time.

  4. Trial payments are due one day before your trial date.

  5. Final payment is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding day.

  6. You agree that by paying your non-refundable booking fee you are agreeing and accepting to be bound to “I Do” Bridal Service’s business terms and conditions.

  7. Failure to make payments within the agreed time frame, may result in the cancelation of your booking and your booking fee will not be refunded.


 TRAVEL COSTS

  1. All road travel to trials and the wedding day is charged at 50p/per mile (round trip) after the first 20 miles and is worked out using post codes.

  2. Travel is charged at standard 50p per mile diesel/petrol unless it is based on train or tube fare or taxi if necessary depending on the start time/accessibility to the venue. Trains will not be booked until the invoice has been paid in full. Travel fare may vary from the initial quotation (eg. train fares increases or additional taxis/transport required on the day)

  3. Congestion, toll and parking charges may apply and will be quoted accordingly or where necessary paid in cash on the day.

  4. Destination weddings/events - Ground travel in the uk and in country of destination is required as well as flights and accommodation for the night before the wedding/event (and after if necessary). In some cases a £100 travel day fee may be applied. (Please get in touch for further information on destination weddings)


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS 

  1. Early morning bookings where the start time is before 7am for any reason, a £50 surcharge will be charged.

  2. Accommodation close to the wedding venue may be required for the night before the wedding if the journey time is over 2 hours one way, the start time is 6am or earlier, or there are other foreseeable events/delays.

  3. Hair extensions can be purchased or hired subject to availability through “I Do” Bridal Services and start at £50.


LARGE BOOKINGS

  1. One or more assistant artists will be required for large bookings under these variations;

    • Bookings that exceed 3x hair and makeups or 6 individual hair and/or makeup services.

    • Where there isn’t enough time to get everyone ready in the available time frame.

    • If the venue has access time restrictions.

    • To offer a later/more relaxed start time.

  1. The fee to book and secure an assistant artist for the wedding day is £130 per assistant.

  2. If an assistant is needed for a trial - travel will be charged as per the standard trial travel costs stated above.

TRIALS

  1. Trials are offered once the wedding date has been secured with the reservation fee.

  2. Trials are held at your home or most convenient address.

  3. Weekend trials - Saturday’s trials aren’t available as these are reserved for weddings however Sunday trials can be booked with a £25 surcharge.

  4. Trials are required for the bride (unless agreed otherwise under special circumstances) but optional for the bridal party.

  5. In the unfortunate event that you, or any of your bridal party, decide after your trial that you are not satisfied, please email Andra - info@idobridalservices.co.uk within 12 hours so that any issue can be resolved. After this time a repeat appointment will need to be booked at full price if this is what is required. Refunds cannot be given on work that has already been carried out.

CANCELLATIONS

IF YOU CANCEL OR CHANGE THE BOOKING

  1. All changes to a booking, need to be made via email and by the bride only.

  2. Payments for work that has already been carried out is non-refundable.

  3. Reservation payments are non refundable should you change your mind about the wedding date.

  4. Additional services need to be sent in writing a minimum of 3 months prior to the wedding date and can only be accepted if time/resources allow. Reductions to services made after this time will still be payable in full and are at the discretion of “I Do” Bridal Services.

  5. If services are reduced to less than the minimum booking requirements for peak wedding days the full minimum amount will still be charged.

POSTPONEMENTS

    1. A new reservation fee will be needed to secure a new date should you wish to move or postpone your original booking.

    2. Postponements that are being made due to a wedding date falling within a government enforced lockdown will be transferred with the original reservation fee.

    3. Any bookings that postpone to a different year may be subject to a slight yearly price increase.

    4. In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking completely:

    • Cancelling within 3 months of the agreed wedding date = 50% of the remaining balance still due by the original due date.

    • Cancelling 1 month or less prior to the wedding day = 100% of the balance still due.

IF WE CANCEL OR CHANGE THE BOOKING

  1. In the unfortunate event that we are unable to attend on the day, due to illness or for last minute, unforeseen circumstances all efforts will be made to find an alternative stylist/artist to stand in. The artist will receive a full brief and list of products used.

  2. In the unlikely event that we cannot find a replacement artist, monies (excluding money paid for work already carried out) will be fully refunded.

  3. If an assisting artist is needed for large party's and they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances we may ask for an earlier start time to accommodate original numbers, or a refund can be offered on services that have been forfeited.

  4. “I Do” Bridal Services reserves the right to cancel a booking following a trial, without a refund of the deposit, in circumstances where the the client is uncooperative/makes it difficult to carry out our work or is booked under false pretences i.e for an event or other purpose.

  5. If Andra or an assistant artist/team member is made to feel uncomfortable in any way, or mistreated, or if anyone becomes abusive/violent or displays any offensive behaviour, we have the right to cancel without refund there and then.

 

IN THE EVENT OF DELAYS ON THE WEDDING DAY

  1. “I Do” Bridal Services cannot be held accountable in the event of unforeseen delays on the day which are out of their control.

  2. In the event that one or more services are forfeited as a result, no compensation/refunds can be offered if timings over-run.

  3. If you are aware of factors which could delay or hinder our journey, please advise us as soon as possible so we can factor this into our route. We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen factors.

  4. No refund or compensation can be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party arriving late to begin our service.

  5. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may be a challenge in any way, it's encouraged for them to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.

 

INSURANCE

  1. All artists working under “I Do” Bridal Services have full public liability insurance to protect both themselves and the client.

 

PRODUCTS / ALLERGIES

  1. The client must inform of any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. This includes before/during the trial and afterwards if any sensitivities/problems have been found.

  2. Discounts cannot not be given on services if you want to use your own products on the day. We also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the product.

 

WORK REQUIREMENTS

  1. To carry out all hair and makeup services, “I Do” Bridal Services will need a minimum of a cleared table/flat surface to set up on and chair for the client to sit in.Lighting must also be suitable for the services to be carried out.

  2. 15 minutes is allocated to set up and be ready in time to start services. If suitable conditions are not provided, “I Do” Bridal Services cannot be held responsible for delays if time is lost due to this.


By paying a reservation fee, you are agreeing to and accepting “I Do” Bridal Services Terms and Conditions stated above.
